艾迪基因基于自主研发的EditX™基因编辑平台，采用优化升级的CRISPR/Cas9系统，设计科学的USP7基因敲除方案。通过RNP法、瞬转质粒法或慢病毒法将CRISPR/Cas9编辑体系递送到HAP1细胞中，然后经过真核抗性标记筛选出阳性细胞池，再使用3D单细胞打印技术挑选单克隆细胞，最后通过基因组测序验证，检测合格后对USP7基因敲除的HAP1细胞进行扩增和冻存。

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the peptidase C19 family, which includes ubiquitinyl hydrolases. This protein deubiquitinates target proteins such as p53 (a tumor suppressor protein) and WASH (essential for endosomal protein recycling), and regulates their activities by counteracting the opposing ubiquitin ligase activity of proteins such as HDM2 and TRIM27, involved in the respective process.
